These Terms of Service set out the contractual relationship between you and StartupHubBiz in relation to access and use of our legal consulting platform for startups. By using StartupHubBiz.pro you accept these terms. We provide a platform that connects founders with legal professionals and delivers legal resources; specific engagements for legal advice are subject to separate engagement terms agreed with the advising professional.

Eligibility
You must be legally capable to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction and must use StartupHubBiz for lawful purposes. Use by businesses, founders and authorized representatives is permitted. Certain services may require additional qualification checks by our legal partners.
Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account and contract for paid services. If you are under 18, access is permitted only through a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.
You agree not to use StartupHubBiz to engage in unlawful activities, to solicit illegal conduct, or to attempt to obtain legal services for purposes that would violate applicable law. Use must align with local regulations in Malaysia and any jurisdiction where you operate.
StartupHubBiz operates primarily from Malaysia and may not be available or suitable for users in other jurisdictions. Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws. Certain features or engagements may be restricted based on professional licensing or regulatory limits.
Account
To access certain features you must register an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
You must keep account information accurate and up to date. Failure to provide accurate information may affect service delivery and compliance with professional obligations.
Protect your account credentials and notify StartupHubBiz immediately of any unauthorized access. We implement industry-standard security measures but are not liable for losses resulting from compromised credentials where you have failed to safeguard access.
Accounts are personal and non-transferable unless expressly agreed in writing by StartupHubBiz. Any attempt to transfer an account without authorization may result in suspension.
If you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at the address below. We will take prompt steps to secure the account and advise on next steps, subject to verification procedures.
We may suspend or restrict accounts for suspected breach of these terms, to protect users, or to comply with legal obligations. Suspensions may be temporary pending contribute.
Services
StartupHubBiz provides an online platform connecting startups with legal professionals, document templates, and advisory resources tailored to early-stage businesses. Specific legal advice is delivered by qualified professionals engaged under separate engagement terms and may incur additional fees.
We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the platform at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the platform or email. Continued use following notice constitutes acceptance of changes.
We strive to make the platform available, but availability may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or events outside our control. We do not warrant uninterrupted access and will communicate planned downtime where practicable.
User Conduct Rules
Users must adhere to professional and lawful conduct when using StartupHubBiz. The following list provides examples of prohibited behavior.
- Do not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information to the platform or to advisors.
- Do not use the platform to harass, threaten, or intimidate other users or professionals.
- Do not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property or violates privacy rights.
- Do not attempt to circumvent payments, fees, or platform controls through unauthorized means.
- Do not engage in unauthorized scraping, automated access, or reverse-engineering of the platform.
- Do not impersonate professionals, StartupHubBiz staff, or other users.
- Comply with all applicable laws and professional rules when seeking and using legal advice.
User Content
Content you submit to StartupHubBiz, such as messages, documents and profile information, is user content. You retain ownership of content you upload but grant certain rights to display and manage it on the platform.
You retain all intellectual property rights in the content you submit, subject to any rights you grant to StartupHubBiz or engaged professionals under separate engagement terms.
By submitting content you grant StartupHubBiz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce and display the content as necessary to provide the platform and related services.
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy and appropriateness of your content. Do not upload sensitive personal data unless necessary for the engagement and only when required safeguards are in place.
StartupHubBiz may remove or restrict access to user content that violates these terms, applicable law, or third-party rights. Where feasible we will notify you of removal and provide an explanation.
Intellectual Property
All platform intellectual property, including branding, software, templates and documentation, is owned by StartupHubBiz or licensed to us. Users may not use our intellectual property except as permitted by these terms or with our written consent.
- Do not copy, reproduce, modify or create derivative works of platform materials for public distribution without authorization.
- Do not remove, alter or obscure proprietary notices or marks from content obtained through the platform.
- Do not exploit platform content for a competing service or commercial redistribution without a license from StartupHubBiz.
Paid Services
Certain services on StartupHubBiz are fee-based, including personalized legal consultations and premium document packages. Paid services are subject to these terms and any additional engagement agreements.
Pricing for paid services is displayed on StartupHubBiz.pro and in engagement communications. Fees are determined by the scope of services and professional rates of advising counsel.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. You must provide valid payment details and authorize charges for services ordered. Payment processing is subject to the providers' terms.
Subscription services renew according to the plan selected. You may cancel subscriptions in accordance with the subscription terms; cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
Refunds for paid services are handled case by case according to the engagement terms and applicable law. Where a refund is appropriate, it will be processed through the original payment method.
You may cancel paid services in accordance with the cancellation policy described at purchase. StartupHubBiz or advising professionals may suspend or terminate services for non-payment or breach of these terms.
Users are responsible for any taxes, duties or government charges associated with purchases. Where required, StartupHubBiz will collect taxes at the point of sale in accordance with applicable law.
We may update prices for services; changes will be communicated prior to renewal where feasible. Existing engagements are billed at agreed rates unless engagement terms specify otherwise.
Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or termination of access to paid features and may lead to collection actions as permitted by law.
Disclaimer

Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, StartupHubBiz’s liability for direct losses arising from our breach of these terms or negligence is limited to the fees paid by you for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms seeks to exclude liability where prohibited by law.
Third-Party Services
StartupHubBiz may integrate third-party tools, advisors and services. Use of third-party services is subject to the third party’s terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party performance, content, or compliance.
Termination
Either party may terminate the user relationship for breach of these terms or for convenience as specified in engagement agreements. Termination by StartupHubBiz may occur to protect users, comply with law, or for operational reasons.
Upon termination, access to the platform and paid features will cease. We may retain certain user data for legal, tax or legitimate business purposes in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable retention schedules.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy governs the collection, use and protection of personal data. By using StartupHubBiz you consent to processing as described in the privacy documentation available at StartupHubBiz.pro/privacy.
Communications
You consent to receiving electronic communications from StartupHubBiz, including service announcements, transactional messages and notices. For formal notices, use the contact address set out below. Electronic communications constitute proper delivery.
Changes to Terms
We may amend these terms to reflect changes to services, legal requirements, or business practices. Material changes will be posted on StartupHubBiz.pro with the effective date. Continued use after changes are posted indicates acceptance.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising out of these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Malaysia, unless the parties agree to an alternative dispute resolution mechanism.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, parties should first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may proceed through the Malaysian courts or arbitration if the parties agree in writing to arbitration.
